KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 -- Train services on the Kelana Jaya Line were disrupted this evening following a passenger incident at the Abdullah Hukum LRT station, triggering an emergency shutdown and rescue operation during the evening peak.

Rail operator Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said the incident occurred at 6.09pm, confirming that "an incident occurred involving a passenger at Abdullah Hukum Station".

"As a safety measure, operations personnel deactivated the power supply at the station to allow the Police, Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), and ambulance teams at the scene to carry out rescue operations," it said in a statement.
