Passenger dies after medical emergency on Malaysia Airlines flight to Sydney
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 18 -- A passenger died on board a Sydney-bound Malaysia Airlines flight after suffering a critical medical emergency mid-air on Wednesday.
Malaysia Airlines confirmed that the passenger on board flight MH141 from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney could not be revived despite immediate emergency medical intervention by crew members and qualified medical personnel on board, news.com.au reported.
A doctor, three nurses, and a cabin crew member rushed to assist the passenger and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but the doctor on board subsequently pronounced the individual dead.
