PAS sets seven priorities for GE16, including wider political cooperation
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 3 -- PAS has outlined seven strategic priorities as it prepares for the 16th General Election (GE16), including remaining open to cooperation with any political party as long as its principles are upheld.
The New Straits Times reported that PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said the party's Muslim unity agenda would see it continue defending Islam while honouring agreements reached with other parties.
"PAS is prepared to cooperate with any party on matters that benefit the country without compromising its policies and principles," he said.
"These unity efforts are not limited to the national level but are also being embraced at the state, constituency and branch levels," he said.
