KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 31 -- Nine students from Sekolah Menengah (SM) Sains Sabah suffered minor injuries after a bus carrying 35 students and a teacher was involved in an accident on the Kota Belud-Kundasang road in Sabah this morning.

According to Utusan Malaysia, the crash happened at about 11am at the Simpang Tiga junction.

Kota Belud Fire and Rescue Station chief Elge Bakuk said firefighters were dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call.

He said two personnel and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle were sent to the site, about 39km from the station.
