TAMPIN, June 5 -- A special sitting of the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang (DKU) at the official residence of the Tunku Besar of Tampin here this morning turned tense briefly after several adat leaders and invited guests were initially stopped from entering the premises.

Police had reportedly locked the main gate and barred entry to the residence where a ceremony linked to the proclamation of a new Yang di-Pertuan Besar was expected to take place, according to reports by news outlets Berita Harian and The Star.
