KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 24 -- The Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir has revoked the appointments of 10 state executive council members, according to a state government gazette.

The gazette said Tuanku Muhriz withdrew his consent and cancelled their appointments after stating that they had breached their oath of loyalty.

It said the 10 Exco members had taken and signed their oath and pledge of loyalty before Tuanku Muhriz on August 7, before taking their seats in the State Executive Council.

According to the gazette, the oath included pledging loyalty to the Ruler and the Royal Institution, protecting and preserving the sovereignty of the Negeri Sembilan Constitution, and recognising the authority vested ...
