PUTRAJAYA, June 26 -- Malaysia's Health Ministry has confirmed its official website was hacked after the portal displayed a message believed to have been left by the attackers. The incident forced the site offline and sparked urgent recovery efforts.
The ministry said a detailed investigation is under way to identify the cause, while restoration work is being carried out to bring the portal back online as quickly as possible.
"The ministry takes this incident seriously and is working closely with relevant agencies to strengthen system security and prevent a recurrence," it said.
