KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 25 -- A man is in critical condition after falling from the third floor of a building at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) in Ipoh yesterday afternoon.

Ipoh district police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Najib Hamzah said police received a report about the incident at about 2.30pm, Kosmo! Online reported.

He said preliminary investigations found that a hospital security guard had noticed a man behaving suspiciously in an emergency staircase.

"The security guard then followed the man before discovering that the victim had fallen from the third floor of the building.

"The victim was subsequently taken to the HRPB Emergency Department for treatment," he said when contacted here today.
