SINGAPORE, May 18 -- A 68-year-old man reportedly died after falling onto the track at Singapore's Segar LRT station this morning, disrupting Bukit Panjang line services for about four hours.

According to The Straits Times, Singapore police said they received a call for assistance at the station at about 5.50am, with preliminary investigations showing the man had fallen onto the track in front of an oncoming train at about 5am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force reportedly said it was alerted at about 6.25am, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
