Malaysia ready to take Israel to ICJ over alleged Gaza flotilla abuses, says Selangor MB
KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 -- The Malaysian government is prepared to take the Zionist regime to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) once lawyers complete the collection of information and supporting evidence.
Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the legal action follows alleged acts of brutality, including kidnapping and torture involving activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) 2.0 humanitarian mission, particularly Malaysian participants.
According to Utusan Malaysia, Amirudin said the move will be followed by continued diplomatic pressure by the government to demand the full liberation of Gaza.
