PETALING JAYA, Aug. 10 -- Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng has announced a RM5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect who doused a woman with fuel and set her alight in a brutal attack at Taman Pusat Kepong yesterday.

Lim described the assault as "an act of shocking cruelty" and urged police to hunt down the attacker swiftly.

"The person responsible must be found, arrested and made to face the full force of the law," he said in a statement today.

He added that the cash reward is being offered for credible information that directly results in the suspect's arrest, and warned the public not to approach or confront the attacker themselves.
