Lim Guan Eng hits PAS over failure to credit him for cutting lottery draws from 22 to eight a year
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 8 -- DAP adviser Lim Guan Eng has hit back at PAS over what he described as dishonest and hypocritical claims about DAP's position on Islam, while pointing to his record of reducing special lottery draws when he was finance minister.
In a Facebook post, Lim said PAS had failed to acknowledge that he was the first finance minister to reduce the number of special lottery draws from 22 to eight a year when Pakatan Harapan (PH) was in government from 2018 to 2020.
"PAS is not honest and sincere when it fails to state that I was the first finance minister to reduce special lottery draws from 22 times to eight times a year during the PH government from 2018 to 2020," he said.
