KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 13 -- National badminton player Lee Zii Jia is seeking a High Court order to hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of LZJ Management Sdn Bhd, alongside an injunction restricting certain financial and management decisions at the company.

The Star reported today that Zii Jia filed an originating summons on July 2, naming his father Lee Chee Hin, sister Lee Zii Yii, younger brother Lee Tao and the company as respondents.

The application seeks to prevent Chee Hin and Zii Yii, who are directors of the company, from approving additional directors' fees, allowances, bonuses or other financial benefits for themselves beyond their monthly salaries.
