KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 31 -- Pokemon fans in South-east Asia have something big to celebrate in 2027 - the biggest Pokemon tournament in the world is coming to Singapore in 2027.

The Pokemon Company announced the news after the conclusion of the 2026 Pokemon World Championships in California, with the dates revealed to be August 13th to 15th though no ticket sales for the event have been announced as yet.

As to where, the venue will be the Singapore EXPO in Tampines, that (according to their website) spans 123,000 square metres of event space.

Pokemon fans who have been waiting for a new movie can also rejoice.
