KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 30 -- Malaysia Airlines has advised passengers travelling from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) between October 30 and November 1 to allow extra time to reach the airport due to expected traffic congestion during the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia 2026.

In a statement posted on social media today, the airline said heavy traffic and road delays were expected in surrounding areas and on highways leading to KLIA during the MotoGP event, which is being held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.

Although access to KLIA would remain fully open, passengers were advised to monitor real-time traffic updates from the police, plan alternative routes where necessary and consider using the KLIA Ekspres train serv...
