KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 19 -- A man has been arrested in Kelantan to assist investigations into a viral video allegedly showing him committing an indecent act involving a cat at his home.

Pasir Puteh district police chief Superintendent Saari Yaacob said police received a report on October 18 after the video circulated on social media platform Threads.

He said police subsequently arrested a man to assist with further investigations, with the case being investigated under Section 377 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
