LOS ANGELES, June 24 -- If anyone can make snapping plastic bricks look cool, it's probably Keanu Reeves.

The John Wick star is heading into the Lego universe, with Deadline reporting that he is in talks to helm a new live-action hybrid Lego movie built around his character.

According to the entertainment outlet, the 61-year-old has given the project the thumbs-up after weeks of negotiations, setting up a reunion with his Toy Story 4 director, Josh Cooley.

The untitled movie will combine live-action and animation.

For Reeves, it's a return to familiar toy territory. He voiced the scene-stealing Canadian stuntman Duke Caboom in 2019's Toy Story 4, also directed by Cooley.
