KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 25 -- Hong Kong actor Mat Yeung's newly opened roast meat restaurant in Petaling Jaya has been temporarily closed by the city council over alleged licensing and premises-related breaches.

The SS2 restaurant was ordered to stop operating from 1pm on August 24, with a closure notice placed outside the premises, The Straits Times reported citing The Star/Asia News Network.

The eatery, which officially opened on August 14, said on social media that the closure was temporary and apologised to customers for the disruption.

It said the authorities had found that part of its kitchen was occupying an area designated as public space.
