SINGAPORE, June 30 -- Hong Kong action legend Jackie Chan is heading back to school - not as a student, but as a special guest.

The 72-year-old martial arts superstar will visit Pei Chun Public School on July 7, where he is expected to spend time with a group of students in a rare school appearance during his trip to Singapore, according to media organisation Mothership.

The surprise announcement was made today at the Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship 2026 Awards Presentation Ceremony, held at the Institute of Technical Education Headquarters and College Central's Tay Eng Soon Convention Centre.
