Four hospitalised after hornet attack near Singapore's Redhill Market
SINGAPORE, July 13 -- Four people were reportedly taken to Singapore General Hospital after a hornet attack near Redhill Market on July 10.
According to local news organisation The Straits Times, the Singapore Civil Defence Force and Tanjong Pagar Town Council were alerted to the incident in Redhill Lane at about 1pm
The hornets reportedly came from a nest on a tree along the footpath between Block 78 Redhill Lane and a Shell petrol station.
The town council said officers cordoned off the affected area and activated a pest control contractor, which safely removed the nest.
