Former Tabung Haji CEO remanded seven days in MACC probe linked to RCI findings
PUTRAJAYA, Aug. 20 -- A former Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) chief executive officer has reportedly been remanded for seven days to assist an investigation stemming from the findings of the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) into the pilgrims' fund.
Berita Harian reported that Magistrate Ezrene Zakariah issued the remand order, which runs until August 27, after allowing an application by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at the Putrajaya Magistrates' Court this morning.
The unidentified man, who is reportedly in his 60s, arrived at the court at 9.38am wearing orange lock-up attire and handcuffs while being escorted by MACC officers.
