KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 26 -- A 14-year-old Form Two student died last night after being found unconscious at a school hostel in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, amid allegations from his family that he had been bullied.

Kuala Pilah district police chief Superintendent Muhamad Mustafah Hussin confirmed the incident and said further details would be released soon, the New Straits Times reported.

According to the report, the student was found unconscious at the hostel before being taken to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital in Kuala Pilah, where he was pronounced dead.

His body was subsequently transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department at Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital in Seremban for a post-mortem examination.
