KOTA TINGGI, May 9 -- Two foreign nationals were killed in a horrific single-vehicle crash after the Ferrari they were traveling in caught fire along the Johor Bahru-Mersing highway this morning.

Kota Tinggi District Police Chief, Superintendent Yusof bin Haji Othman, confirmed that police received a distress call from the public at approximately 9am, regarding the fatal incident at Kilometer 57.5 of the Jalan Johor Bahru-Mersing route.

The victims have been identified as a 34-year-old man, Yeo Tian Wen Leong, who was driving the vehicle, and a 33-year-old woman, Ng Puay Ying who was in the front passenger seat.

According to the police statement, both the driver and the passenger suffered severe bodily injuries and burns in the crash. ...
