BANTING, July 7 -- The father of the 15-year-old girl who was injured in a stabbing at a secondary school in Banting has said he is willing to meet the family of the teenage suspect, adding that he hopes his daughter receives "the justice she deserves".

According to Sinar Harian, Mohd Firuz Ibrahim, 43, said he had not received any contact from the suspect's family since yesterday's attack.

"Yes, I'm willing to meet them... we'll see how things are first," he told the national daily at Banting Hospital today when asked whether his family would consider forgiving the suspect following the attack.
