BATU PAHAT, Oct. 5 -- The father of a Form Four student who was found dead at a school in Yong Peng here hopes justice will be served for his daughter.

Mohd Khairool Faisal Khyar, 42, said the family was leaving the investigation entirely to police and the relevant authorities to ensure justice for his daughter, Irene Sofiya, 16.

"We are grateful to everyone who came and we hope justice can be served for my late daughter," he was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian.

He was speaking after her burial at the Kampung Arshad Muslim Cemetery in Yong Peng here yesterday.
