Fake Singapore Supreme Court stamps, employee passes found on Malaysian man at Woodlands Checkpoint
SINGAPORE, Aug. 13 -- A 23-year-old Malaysian man was arrested at Woodlands Checkpoint after he was allegedly found carrying counterfeit stamps bearing the emblems of Singapore's Supreme Court and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), along with fake employee passes.
The man was arrested on Tuesday after Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers directed him to undergo enhanced checks at the checkpoint's bus arrival hall, police said in a statement on Wednesday, Asia One reported.
Several fake employee passes bearing the man's photograph were also found in his possession, while investigations showed that he had never worked for any of the organisations named on the passes.
