KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 1 -- City Hall (DBKL) has urged residents and delivery riders to treat public housing amenities with care, following a viral video showing an individual riding a motorcycle into a People's Housing Project (PPR) lift.

The closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, which circulated widely across social media, sparked public outrage over safety hazards and property damage. Neither the identity of the rider nor the precise location of the building has been independently verified.

In a statement, DBKL did not call out the individual but addressed the broader habit of rolling motorcycles and electric scooters into residential elevators to expedite doorstep deliveries.
