JOHOR BAHRU, Sept. 20 -- A video posted on social media showing a car being driven against traffic on Jalan Jim Quee here has been traced to an Audi driver who is believed to have fallen asleep after finishing work.

The incident took place at about 6.50am on September 18 and involves a Malaysian man who works as a restaurant waiter at R&F Mall, South Johor Bahru district deputy police chief Superintendent Ng Swie Chait said in a Facebook statement today.

According to Ng, the man was driving an Audi home to Taman Mount Austin after finishing his shift that day.

Upon arriving at the Tanjung Puteri traffic-light intersection, he fell asleep inside the vehicle.
