Clear skies for F1, KL Marathon as air quality improves nationwide; Seri Manjung sole hotspot
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 2 -- Malaysia is heading into a bumper weekend of major international and national sporting events with clear skies across almost the entire country, as only a single monitoring station recorded unhealthy air quality this morning.
Data from the Department of Environment (DoE) showed Seri Manjung in Perak as the nation's sole location in the unhealthy bracket as of 9am today, registering an Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 108.
Every other monitoring station across Malaysia recorded moderate or good air quality with readings of 100 or below, providing timely relief for organisers, athletes, and tens of thousands of spectators ahead of a packed sports calendar.
