KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 -- Chelsea will play in Malaysia for the first time in 13 years when the English Premier League club face Johor Darul Ta'zim in a pre-season friendly on August 11.

In a Facebook post, JDT said the match will be held at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Johor as part of Chelsea's preparations for the 2026-2027 Premier League season under newly-appointed manager Xabi Alonso.

The match between "The Blues" and the "Southern Tigers" will kick off at 8pm.

Tickets are priced from RM154 to RM1,254, with a supporters' club pre-sale starting at 10am on Thursday, May 21, followed by general public sales from noon on Friday, May 22.
