CAAM officer killed after RXZ crashes under car in Tawau
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 27 -- A Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) Tawau air traffic officer died after the Yamaha RXZ he was riding is believed to have skidded and ended up underneath a Toyota Camry at Batu 3, Jalan Apas, in Tawau, Sabah, yesterday.
The 55-year-old local man sustained head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene after the 6pm incident, Berita Harian reported.
Tawau district police chief Assistant Commissioner Rosdi Mat Jusoh said preliminary investigations found that both vehicles were travelling in the same direction when the incident occurred.
