MUMBAI, July 6 -- Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has tied the knot with longtime partner Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony held at his Mumbai residence, keeping the celebration small and family-focused, according to The Statesman.

The couple formalised their marriage in an intimate setting attended by close family and friends, with children from both sides present for the occasion.

Heavy rainfall hit Mumbai on the day of the wedding, but the weather did not disrupt the low-key celebrations, which proceeded as planned at Khan's home.
