SEOUL, Oct. 4 -- Blackpink has set another record on YouTube, with their debut music video Boombayah crossing 1.9 billion views.

The milestone, reached this morning in South Korea, makes the track the first K-pop debut video to achieve the figure, Soompi reported.

Boombayah is now the first K-pop debut music video ever to reach the milestone on YouTube.

The group also stands out as the only K-pop act with three separate videos surpassing 1.9 billion views, following earlier hits Ddu-Du Ddu-Du and Kill This Love.

Released on August 8, 2016, the Boombayah video took just over a decade to reach the latest benchmark.
