TAPAH, Sept. 30 -- A 41-year-old man was reportedly shot in the left shoulder after two gunmen opened fire on his four-wheel-drive vehicle at a petrol station in Bidor Sentral yesterday.

According to Berita Harian, Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said the incident occurred at about 6.08pm after the victim drove his white Toyota Land Cruiser into the station to refuel.

"Two men believed to be armed with firearms got out of the car and fired several shots at the victim's vehicle before fleeing," Mohd Alwi was quoted as saying, adding that a black Honda City had stopped in front of the Land Cruiser shortly beforehand.
