Bersatu acted in 'bad faith' to cripple Perikatan before Melaka polls, Takiyuddin claims in court filing
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 6 -- Perikatan Nasional (PN) secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan has accused Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia of deliberately trying to "cripple" the coalition ahead of the Melaka state election by lodging a complaint with the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
The allegation was made in an affidavit filed in support of PN's application for judicial review of two RoS notices that have thrown uncertainty over the coalition's status as it prepares for the state polls, Malaysiakini reported today.
Takiyuddin claimed Bersatu acted in bad faith when it complained to the RoS after being left out of a PN Supreme Council meeting on July 16.
