Animal welfare groups bring humane stray dog management drive to Seremban
KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 -- Animal welfare movement Execute AWA has reportedly expanded its national #ProjekTogetherBoleh 2.0 programme to Seremban, Negri Sembilan, as part of efforts to promote more humane and systematic stray animal management.
The Star reported that the programme was carried out at Millennia Village and nearby areas with local NGOs NS Happy Paws and FurryKids SafeHaven, covering both sheltered and free-roaming stray dogs.
Execute AWA founder Sue Ann Kong said the initiative supports a more strategic approach based on field operations, data collection, vaccination and long-term sterilisation, including the trap-neuter-vaccinate-return/rehome-manage model.
