MELAKA, Oct. 31 -- Pakatan Harapan has dismissed suggestions that it engineered the Registrar of Societies' move to suspend Perikatan Nasional, insisting the matter stems from troubles inside the opposition bloc.

Melaka PKR chief Adam Adli Abd Halim rejected the allegation outright and pushed back against Gerakan president Datuk Dr Dominic Lau's assertion that the suspension carried a political motive, the New Straits Times reported.

"We reject these allegations. This has nothing to do with us. It is not our strategy, and we are not involved at all," he said at a press conference at the PH main operations centre.

"That is their internal conflict," he added.
