'We're sorry': Blackpink apologise to Blinks after 10th anniversary plans spark fan frustration
SEOUL, Aug. 9 -- Blackpink have apologised to disappointed fans after their 10th anniversary reunion was overshadowed by criticism of the group's limited, last-minute celebrations.
Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa reunited in Seoul yesterday, exactly a decade after the K-pop superstars made their debut, for a meet-and-greet with just 40 fans at the National Museum of Korea.
The milestone celebration, however, prompted frustration among some Blinks after the event was announced only two days beforehand.
The four members later addressed the disappointment during a Weverse livestream, with Jisoo acknowledging that the group had fallen short in communicating its plans to fans.
