'Snow' on Kesas? It was actually soap foam after heavy rain
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 4 -- What looked like snow covering part of the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) yesterday afternoon turned out to be soap foam triggered by heavy rain washing up residue from a spill more than a week ago.
The unusual scene stretched about 500 metres between Kilometre 30 and 30.5 of the Klang-bound-to-Kuala Lumpur side of Kesas and was spotted at about 3.10pm.
Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Sarudin Samah said initial investigations found the soap residue likely came from a lorry load that spilled on August 24 near the Kota Kemuning slip road before the vehicle entered Kesas heading towards Klang, Kosmo! Online reported.
