'Patience has limits': PAS reviewing ties with Bersatu ahead of GE16, says Hadi
KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 -- PAS is reviewing its political relationship and cooperation with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) ahead of the 16th general election (GE16), including the possibility of moving forward without its ally if both sides fail to reach a consensus.
According to Utusan Malaysia, its president, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, said all aspects involving ties between the two parties within Perikatan Nasional (PN) were being comprehensively reassessed based on lessons from previous elections.
He said PAS was taking a cautious approach and did not want to rush into any decision, but acknowledged that the party's patience had its limits.
