KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 -- The father of the 15-year-old girl stabbed at a secondary school in Banting has denied social media allegations that his daughter was involved in bullying, describing her as a reserved teenager and urging the public to leave the investigation to police.

According to Sinar Harian, Mohd Firuz Ibrahim, 43, said he had seen WhatsApp messages and a viral list of names linking his daughter to alleged bullying, but stressed that neither he nor his family could verify their authenticity.

"I have heard the stories and received WhatsApp messages containing the list of names that has gone viral, but we cannot confirm whether it is genuine.

"I do not want to comment further. Let the police carry out their investigation," he...
