KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 -- Susanna Liew, the wife of missing Pastor Raymond Koh, has welcomed the government's decision to withdraw its appeal and allow her access to the Special Task Force Report (STF Report) on his abduction.
She said the move finally gives her the same treatment as Norhayati Mohd Ariffin, the wife of Amri Che Mat, who had earlier been granted access to the report.
"As a Malaysian citizen, I am entitled to equality before the law and to the equal protection of the law, free from discrimination particularly by the government," she said.
Liew explained that she had previously asked the Attorney General's Chambers to reconsider its position but was refused. She now welcomes the latest development, which affirms her right ...
