India, May 21 -- The Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, organised a WOW (Women of Wisdom) event on the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 under the guidance of Chairperson Prof. Uzma Eram.

Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Mohammad Khalid attended the programme as the chief guest. The event was hosted by Dr. Yuvrajsinh (JR-2) on behalf of the department.

Six teams participated in a Biography Presentation Competition highlighting the lives and contributions of notable personalities including Dr. Anandibai Joshi, Dr. Gisella Perl, Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy, ASHA worker Laxmi Murmu, Anarcha, Lucy and Betsy, and Dr. Rani Bang through presentations and roleplay performances focusing...
