ALIGARH, Sept. 18 -- most Professor at the Women's College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been allowed to perform the duties of Principal, Women's College, with effect from September 17, 2026. She will continue to look after the duties of Principal until August 6, 2027, the date of her superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
A Professor of English, Prof. Imtiaz has been associated with teaching for over 39 years and has served as Professor since 2006. She began her teaching career at the undergraduate level in September 1987 and has also taught at the postgraduate level since 1994. She holds a Ph.D. in English Language Teaching from AMU, which she completed in 1995.
