India, Sept. 10 -- The statewide expansion will establish a structured post-attempt care pathway across district and Bengaluru government hospitals, with a focus on trained professionals, family support, and 12-month follow-up.

Bengaluru- NIMHANS, the Government of Karnataka, and Himalaya Wellness Company have announced the statewide scale-up of Project USHAS, or the Urban Self-Harm Study. The program will extend structured psychosocial care for people who survive suicide attempts or self-harm incidents across 37 government hospitals in Karnataka.
