ALIGARH, Aug. 11 -- ALIGARH : The Department of Surgery, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), hosted the 18th Annual National Conference of the India Hernia Society (IHSCON 2026), bringing together leading specialists and surgeons for academic discussions on contemporary advances in hernia surgery.
Held on the theme "Breaching the Challenges", the conference was organised under the leadership of Prof. Atia Zaka-ur-Rab, Organising Chairman, and Prof. Wasif Mohammad Ali, Organising Secretary, with the support of faculty members, residents and staff of the Department of Surgery.
