India, Feb. 22 -- The Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University, celebrated International Mother Language Day 2026 with an online lecture organised under the banner of the Masud Husain Khan Linguistic Society.
Prof Naresh Annem from the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, University of Hyderabad, delivered the keynote lecture on "Translation as a Catalyst in the Promotion and Preservation of Language, Literature, and Culture."
