ALIGARH, Aug. 2 -- ALIGARH : Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organised an awareness programme on energy conservation under the Government of India's Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) initiative and a plantation drive under the nationwide campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" to promote environmental responsibility among students.
As part of the Mission LiFE programme, Ms. Nuzrat Jahan, PGT (Physics), delivered a lecture on "Save Energy", highlighting the importance of energy conservation through simple daily practices such as switching off unused lights and fans, using electrical appliances judiciously, and avoiding the wastage of natural resources.
