ALIGARH, Nov. 1 -- ALIGARH : The Department of Manafeul Aza, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organised a series of activities under the University's 'No to Plastic' initiative and Swachhata Drive as part of Special Swachhata Campaign 6.0.
As part of the initiative, Dr. Atiya Samad and PG scholar Dr. Ushna, members of the departmental committee under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026, conducted an awareness programme for students. They highlighted the harmful effects of plastic on human health and the environment, the importance of avoiding single-use plastics and the need to adopt sustainable alternatives.
