ALIGARH, July 4 -- day hands-on skill training workshop on "Silk Painting" on July 1 and 2 to equip students with creative and market-oriented textile design skills.
Conducted by guest instructor Ms. Sanower, the workshop was attended by 20 students, who received practical training in silk painting techniques, including gutta and resist methods, tracing, brush handling, colour blending, shading, ornamentation, and finishing. Participants created a variety of floral and decorative motifs while gaining an understanding of the artistic and commercial applications of hand-painted textiles.
